Terms of Service

1. Who sells to you

Our order process is conducted by our online resellers Paddle.com and Polar Software, Inc. (polar.sh). The reseller that processes your order — named at checkout and on your receipt — is the Merchant of Record for that order, provides all customer service inquiries about it and handles returns.

That reseller's own Buyer Terms apply to your purchase in addition to these terms. Payments, invoices, sales tax and VAT are handled by the reseller.

2. What Lyra Studio is

Lyra Studio is an online service that helps you write song lyrics and produce finished songs with artificial intelligence. You describe a song, pick or write lyrics, and Lyra Studio generates audio tracks ("takes") from them. Each time you produce, you get two versions to choose from, and you can split a take into vocals and instruments.

Lyra Studio uses third-party AI models to generate lyrics and music. Results are generated automatically, can vary from one try to the next, and may not always match what you asked for.

3. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if that is higher, to use Lyra Studio.

Give us accurate information, keep your password safe, and tell us right away if you think someone else is using your account. You're responsible for what happens in your account.

4. Credits, plans and prices

Lyra Studio works with credits. Each action shows its price in credits on the button before you use it — for example writing lyrics, producing a song, or splitting a take into stems. Current prices are on our Pricing page.

• New accounts get a one-time amount of free credits. Free credits not used within 30 days expire.
• Paid plans (Standard, Pro, Ultra) add their credits every month. Unused credits don't carry over to the next month, and plan credits end one day after a paid period ends without renewal.
• To keep the service fair for everyone, a plan can use up to 40% of its monthly credits in any 7-day period. The rest stays available later in the month.
• If a generation fails on our side, the credits for it come back to your balance automatically.
• Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred to another account and can't be exchanged for money, except as described in our Refund Policy.

Prices are shown in US dollars. Our reseller calculates and adds any taxes at checkout. We may change prices or credit costs; changes never apply to a subscription period you have already paid for, and we'll tell you before they apply to your plan.

5. Subscriptions

Plans renew automatically every month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Credits & plan → Manage subscription. When you cancel, you keep your plan and its credits until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.

6. Refunds

Refunds are explained in our Refund Policy, which is part of these terms.

7. Your songs and lyrics

You own the lyrics you write and, to the extent the law and our AI providers' terms allow, the songs you create with Lyra Studio. You may use them for personal and commercial purposes.

So that we can run the service, you give us a limited permission to store, process and play back your content for you. We don't sell your songs or lyrics, and we don't publish them.

AI-generated music may not be protected by copyright in every country, and other people may get similar results from similar requests. Lyra Studio doesn't promise that a generated song is unique or that you can register it with a rights organization or distributor.

8. Fair use

Don't use Lyra Studio to:

• copy or imitate a real artist, or upload or request lyrics or material you don't have the rights to;
• create content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative, or that impersonates someone;
• deceive people, for example by presenting a generated song as a real artist's recording;
• break, overload, scrape or get around Lyra Studio's limits or security, or resell access to Lyra Studio.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. If we close your account for serious or repeated abuse, unused credits may be lost.

9. The service as it is

We work hard to keep Lyra Studio running well, but it's provided "as is". We don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or that every generation will succeed. Features that depend on our AI providers may change or stop.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Lyra Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by law.

11. Ending your account

You can stop using Lyra Studio at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to us. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Sections 7, 9 and 10 still apply after your account ends.

12. Changes and law

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, without taking away any protection the consumer law of your country gives you.
