Privacy Policy
Last updated October 5, 2026
This policy explains what personal data Lyra Studio collects, why, and what you can do about it. Lyra Studio is operated by Umar Hoshimov (Republic of Uzbekistan), who is responsible for your data. Contact: hello@lyra-ai.studio.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, your name if you give one, and your password (stored hashed — we can't read it). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
- Your content: song descriptions, lyrics, sound settings, generated audio and cover art, saved sounds and saved singers.
- Cover images you upload. We store them with your song and show them only to you. Only upload images you have the right to use — if a picture shows other people, make sure they agree.
- Credits and purchases: your credit balance and history, your plan, and the order references our reseller sends us. We never see or store your card details.
- Technical data: the cookies needed to keep you signed in and protect forms, your settings stored in your browser (like theme and language), and server logs (IP address, browser, errors) kept for security and fixing problems.
Why we use it
- To run Lyra Studio: create your account, generate your lyrics and songs, keep your library, and track your credits.
- To take payments and handle refunds, through our reseller.
- To keep Lyra Studio secure and prevent abuse.
- To contact you about your account, purchases and important changes.
We don't sell your data, and we don't use your songs or lyrics for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only with the services we need to run Lyra Studio:
- Paddle.com and Polar Software, Inc. (polar.sh) — payments, invoices, taxes and refunds, as Merchant of Record for the orders each processes.
- AI providers that write lyrics, generate music and make cover art. They receive your song descriptions, lyrics and sound settings to create your songs and their cover art.
- Hosting and email providers that store data and send emails for us.
- Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google.
We may also share data if the law requires it.
Where your data goes
Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. We use providers that protect personal data with appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and content while your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your content within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (like purchase records), which our reseller and we keep as long as required.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Email us from your account's address and we'll answer within 30 days. If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
Lyra Studio isn't meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll tell you by email or in the app. The date at the top shows the latest version.
